My family knows the distress and anguish that a diagnosis of cancer can cause. In January 2012, we were shocked by Colin's abrupt and heartbreaking battle with Neuroplastoma. These moments make you truly realize and apprecaite those that are closest to you. I think it is very important for families to be there for eachother, and remember the sorrow that we have all endured.

Run For Colin is my way of celebrating Colin's life, while raising awareness and funds for all of CancerCare's completely free services for indidiviauls, families and communites effected by cancer. From my family's difficult experiences with cancer, I strongly believe in what CancerCare represents and is fighting for.
